Tie It Back

Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2, 2026

The short version. Tie It Back reads your documents on your own computer. Your files are not uploaded to us. There's no account, and we don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. We don't sell data.

Who we are

Tie It Back is a trade name of Empire Medical Solutions. Questions about privacy: [email protected].

Your documents

When you open files in Tie It Back, they are read and matched inside your web browser, on your computer. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.

So your work is still there when you come back, the app saves your files, highlights and links in your browser's storage on that computer. To remove them, use ⋯ (More) → Erase everything on this computer in the app, or clear your browser's site data. If you open the app as a file on your computer instead of at tieitback.com, other pages you open the same way may be able to read that storage, so erase it when you're done.

Small settings

If you switch the website to dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser so it's remembered next time. It isn't sent to us.

What our website host sees

Like any website, the company that hosts tieitback.com receives basic information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't add analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies to the site. Because we don't track you, there is nothing for "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off.

Email

If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply to you. If you ask to hear when paid features open, we'll use your address for that and nothing else, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
